Spartak Moscow vs. Kunlun Red Star

Kunlun had a rough start of the season, outplayed by an exciting Jokerit side in Helsinki on Monday and spending even more time in the West now. It is somewhat hard to believe that the team has not spent one day in China since the beginning of the pre-season in July. But in fact, Kunlun has had camps in Latvia, Czech Republic and in Sochi before staying St. Petersburg and Finland right before the start of the season. They will move on to Magnitka on the first part of their long journey home:

Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod vs. Vityaz Podolsk

Vityaz' task away at Nagorny Arena will not be easy, as surely the home side Torpedo will be keen to build on the surprise victory over SKA the other day. Vityaz has recored an away in Nizhnekamsk first up, so they have points in the bank early and even more so, from an away at what was a difficult fortress to conquer last season.
